Bournemouth midfielder and USMNT international Tyler Adams will miss the start of the 2024-25 season due to back surgery. He had previously played in the Copa America matches but was withdrawn in two of them. Adams has been dealing with injury issues for the past year, including a hamstring problem. His back injury will keep him sidelined for several months. Bournemouth’s head coach explained that Adams was not fully fit and was in pain before going on international duty. The decision to allow him to play was not made by the club.
